Through high temperature (120-140°C), high pressure (0.2-0.4 MPa), and intense shearing, this process breaks down the disulfide and peptide bonds in feather keratin, converting them into small peptides and free amino acids. The resulting feather powder boasts a protein digestibility of 70%-85% (far exceeding the 10% or less achieved with direct pulverization). This product boasts a loose texture, excellent palatability, and high intestinal absorption efficiency in animals.

Shandong Chengming's equipment can process all types of poultry feathers (chicken, duck, and goose feathers, including hard feathers and down feathers), and can tolerate slight impurities (such as small amounts of fluff and feather stems). After pre-treatment steps such as cleaning and squeezing, the raw material utilization rate can reach more than 95%, with almost no waste (small amounts of impurities can be removed by screening).
