Specifically, steam is heated within a sealed container, subjecting the material to a high-temperature, high-pressure environment, typically reaching temperatures of 121-143°C and pressures of 0.2-0.6 MPa. These conditions are maintained for a period of time, using heat to destroy the protein structure of pathogens, achieving sterilization. And the material softens and decomposes under the moist heat.
